Archiving Hate exists to document antisemitism as it appears in public.

Every day, antisemitic comments, images, memes, conspiracy theories and Holocaust distortion are posted online. Much of it disappears almost as quickly as it appears. Posts are deleted, accounts vanish, threads are removed and yesterday's words become conveniently forgotten.

This site exists to preserve the record.

We collect publicly posted examples of antisemitism, preserve the surrounding context where practical, and organize them so they can be found and examined later.

This is not an archive of criticism of Israel.

People are free to criticize Israel, its government, politicians, military actions and policies. Political disagreement is not automatically antisemitism.

Our reference point is the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance Working Definition of Antisemitism, including its accompanying examples.

The purpose here is not to organize harassment, expose private information or send mobs after people.

It is much simpler than that:

You posted it publicly.
We documented it.
The record remains.

Archiving Hate is intended to become a searchable historical record of what ordinary antisemitism actually looked like in the internet age, not years later after everyone has forgotten what was being said, but while it was happening.
