Yes folks, Ziggy Zanaglio has blown the Anne Frank case wide open by researching when ballpoint pens became common in Germany.
One tiny fucking problem: Anne Frank did not write her diary with a ballpoint pen.
Forensic examination found that Anne wrote primarily in fountain-pen ink, with some pencil and coloured pencil. The handful of ballpoint marks discovered among the collected papers appeared on separate annotation slips written by a researcher decades later—not in Anne’s diary.
So Ziggy investigated the availability of a pen Anne never used, answered a question nobody asked and posted the result as evidence of a forgery that never occurred.
